Isaiah 54:2 says to enlarge the place of your tent. Stretch out your tent curtains wide, do not hold back, lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. Recently, I had a great conversation with a very successful businessman. He is sincerely building his business to honor the Lord. And despite the poor economy, he is engaged in a significant expansion project with his business.

This project requires a lot of faith on his part. He told me that he had a wonderful sense of peace that this major expansion was God’s will for his company. I shared today’s verse with him. Not to hold back in spite of any fears, worries, or doubts. There are definitely times in our life when the Lord tells us it’s time to go for it. Expand our enterprise, our projects, our spheres of influence.
