Married to my high school sweetheart Becky, father of four children, grandfather to two, University of MD Accounting, class of 1979. Worked briefly for CPA firm as a staff accountant before joining General Contractor Dustin Construction as the Controller, ending as the Senior Vice President and President of a sister Construction Management company 13 ½ later. Started Hope Builders with partner and brother in law Andy Tvardzik in 1994. Became sole owner in 2016. Additionally, operated Construction Management, Construction Loan Consulting and Registered Investment Advisory businesses for over two decades.
Hope Builders is a unique company in the construction industry. The company started and continues with the belief that customer satisfaction is served best through satisfied employees. And what that looks like is expressed in our vision; “To create and encourage opportunities to accomplish your greatest potential.” Over time as people change and go, we consider this the greatest legacy for Hope Builders. Hope Builders is a specialty contractor, focused on serving National Restaurant Chains in the metropolitan areas around Washington, DC and Baltimore. Joined Dave Holly’s MD Truth at Work group as a participant in 2012 and transitioned to a chapter president in 2018.
Passions include; traveling with Becky, time with family, reading, writing, mentoring, basketball, biking, kayaking, snowboarding and backpacking.
