With deep roots in San Antonio, Earl was raised in a family of ranchers, farmers, entrepreneurs and church planters in Southern Texas. While receiving his education at the University of Texas in Austin, he developed friendships that introduced him to sailing catamarans, a love of the water and all things boat related. Soon after, he met his wonderful wife, Mary. They have been married for over 46 years and have two grown very successful daughters.

Having grown up in church, Earl made church attendance a priority for his young family even as he relocated them around the country for various career opportunities. He served in multiple ministry roles and has been a deacon, committee member, and financial chairman in several churches over the years. Both he and Mary have facilitated a number of large and small bible studies as well during this time.

With an affinity for sailing and yacht construction, Earl has worked as a designer, engineer, builder, operational manager, Vice President and owner of a number of boat construction companies both power and sail over the course of 50 years. He loves working with and training employees, improving company cultures, and guiding entrepreneurs in business. He enjoys bringing men together and encouraging them to look to God for answers and direction in their businesses.  Gifted as a leader and teacher, Earl finds true satisfaction meeting and working with his groups in his position with Truth At Work.
