Dr. Greg Hackett and his wife Lisa have been married since 1983. They have raised 3 children: Tyler (wife: Tiffany), Katie (husband: Jake), and Bobby (wife: Amber). They currently have 3 grandchildren.
Dr. Hackett graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Evangel College (’83), an M.A. in Church Ministries from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (’09), and a D.Min. in Leadership from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (’14).
From 1991 to 2010 he served as the lead pastor of First Assembly of God in Lafayette, Indiana. In 2010, he and Lisa moved to Winter Garden, Florida where he served as the National Director of Central Bible College Leadership Corps. During this time he also developed into a church consultant and began coaching leaders in churches and businesses.
In April 2013, Dr. Hackett relocated to Warrenton, Virginia, outside of Washington DC, to become the lead pastor of The Bridge Community Church. After suffering 2 major leadership crises in 2 years, The Bridge Community Church has regained its momentum under the leadership of Dr. Hackett. In June 2017 the church finished construction on a 4.3 million dollar ministry center on one of the busiest highways in the region.
He continues to utilize his consulting and coaching skills with church planters, church leaders and business leaders locally, regionally and nationally. He is certified with International Coaching Federation (ACC) and the Assemblies of God (AG Coaching – Level 3). Over the years, his heart for missions and leadership development has enabled him to minister in over 20 countries. Most recently he has become the chapter president of Truth At Work in Warrenton, Virginia which launched in January 2018.
