Faith, Family, and Work
Pat Colson’s journey to Truth At Work is a testimony to the undeniable truth of God’s sovereignty, the healing power of Jesus Christ, and an indwelling of the Holy Spirit for one of the least among us. In addition to serving as a Chapter President for Truth At Work, Pat and his wife Lynn own and operate Ohana United, LLC a company offering leadership coaching and training, and team development through DISC training programs to improve EQ and create a high-performing culture. They are leading people to the Kingdom of God through serving in the marketplace to equip and empower people to achieve excellence and helping to unite personal, spiritual, and professional lives. Together they have provided mentoring, coaching, training, and team building for thousands of people in various roles and industries. They have worked with professional athletes, CEOs, business owners, sales managers, sales professionals, plant managers, and entrepreneurs. Development in Pat’s spiritual, personal, and professional life began in professional baseball, transitioned into serving in the United States Air Force, and went on to include professional development in the corporate world while coaching athletes. Through these experiences, he created a leadership development program called Warrior 360.
Warrior 360 is a faith-based program used to train people of various ages and across multiple industries to grow spiritually, personally, and professionally. At the core of Warrior 360 is Jesus Christ (Warrior) and the concept of training the total person with the skills required to make significant impact in all areas of a person’s life (360). In addition to the Warrior 360 program being the foundation of Ohana United LLC, the program is also being used to train mentors in public schools. Pat also serves as a 3D Coaching Specialist for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Charlotte. FCA’s vision is to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. 3D Institute’s 3D Coaching is a professional development training program and framework that enables the coach to be better equipped to make an impact on their student-athlete. It offers the coach a model in which they can develop strategies to impact the individual in all 3 Dimensions of a person. By pouring into the 1 st Dimension (Physical), the 2 nd Dimension, (Mind and Body), and the 3 rd Dimension (Spirit and Heart), the coach can become a transformational leader who makes a significant impact on their athletes.
Pat and his wife Lynn have four children and two grandchildren. Their daughter Shauna and son-in law Mirko, and sons Anthony, Alec, and Ace, granddaughter Lucy, and grandson Jude all live in Charlotte. Pat is humbled to coach Lucy’s FCA Travel Softball team. The family shares in the joy of leading others to Christ through softball. They love to hike, play sports, spend time at the beach, go to amusement parks, and serve together. Their spiritual home is Moments of Hope Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
