Eric is a Harvard trained professional with 30+ years of experience in strategic planning, organizational and business development, and transition management. Eric’s career is marked with matchless results increasing revenue, customer retention, and significant increases in market share.
After a 35-year career practicing law, and running, turning around and restructuring businesses, Eric reached his personal “Halftime” and made the decision to pursue significance rather than simply success.
Eric currently serves as a Chapter President for Truth@Work in Western Washington State. Eric also owns a consulting firm, Redfire Partners, which specializes in business restructuring, business turnarounds, crisis management, and business development. Eric successfully practiced law for 16 years as a litigator, and then took a tremendous fall. Eric’s story is all about the “God of second chances”, and about the restoration that can take place in a life that is willing to be submitted to Christ.
After his legal career, Eric entered the recreational vehicle industry. Eric led several RV dealerships, including leading the turnaround of a major metropolitan RV dealership in Tacoma, Washington. Eric has a passion for leading businesses through crisis and coaching their executives to facilitate long-term success and sustainability. As a result of this passion, Redfire Partners, LLC was formed. The mission of Redfire Partners is to facilitate the restoration of companies and their people through the implementation of sound management practices, and the development of viable strategy. Eric has led successful turnarounds in a number of industries, including automobile and recreational vehicle dealerships, a specialty bakery, a heavy equipment sales and leasing company, several professional practices, and a advertising/marketing agency. Since leaving the legal profession, Eric has served in the roles of CEO, COO, CFO and Chief Restructuring Officer for the companies he has worked with. Eric has created and facilitated industry specific training programs for sales, sales management and organizational leadership. Eric has spoken internationally on business leadership, business ethics and the application of Biblical principles to the marketplace.
Eric is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at the University of Washington School of Business and programs in strategic finance and accounting and finance at the Harvard Business School. Eric received his law Degree from Seattle University, and received a certificate in International Law and Law of the European Economic Community from Queens College in Cambridge, England. Eric received a Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Andersonville Theological Seminary, and obtained his undergraduate degree from Washington State University in Political Science.
Eric was part of a team of businessmen that went to Kazakhstan to teach biblical business principles, and he has a passion to change the way America works by bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to the marketplace.
Eric Has been married for 24 years to his wife Debbie, and they have a daughter, Rachel, who attends Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Eric and Debbie are members of Northwest Foursquare Church, in Federal Way, Washington where Eric has served on the Business Council.
